Plan, Guide, Educate, & Accompany

Offering supportive, compassionate and comprehensive holistic care and practical services to gently guide you up to and through death and dying. Empowering you to have the courageous conversations necessary while navigating pre-planning and after-death care.

Rebecca Lake, DC is a death doula, energy worker, and chiropractor providing end-of-life care. She aims to smooth the pathway for her clients, and guide them on their journey as they transition from one world to the next.

Why the moth?

The moth symbolizes celebrating transitions rather than fearing them, awakening us to larger experiences. They may bring us messages, insights, guidance, or advice.

Many cultures viewed moths as emissaries from the Spirit realm, and used their teachings to assist in the transition between worlds. Moths are also symbolic of closure in our lives, hearlding fresh starts & new beginnings.

What is a Death Doula?

What does a good death look like? Most of us don’t think about death until it is thrust upon us— whether facing our own mortality, or that of a loved one.

A death doula comes in as additional support wherever it is needed. We offer compassionate, non-medical care to those at or planning for end of life, supplementing hospice and palliative care, and help clients navigate disposition options and seamless support unique to their individual needs. We are companions, helping guide people through that liminal space at the end of life, so that they are ready to transition in peace.

Services

Services start with a free, 30 minute initial consultation, which can be in-person or virtual.

Here we introduce ourselves, go over what I offer, and plan for how I can best assist you on your path.

If it seems to be a good fit, I can then schedule visits lasting 1-2 hours, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, whatever you prefer. These visits can be flexed if we need to meet less or more as time goes on. We will focus on a variety of my offerings that provide guidance, education, and accompaniment for all parts of your journey.
